Rock Brook would like to wish a warm welcome to our newest team member, Victoria Anaya, who joins us in our New Jersey office as our new full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant! Victoria comes to us with a wealth of office experience, and we are happy to have her on board. When you call our office, she’s likely to be the first voice you hear, so be sure to say hello!
To get to know Victoria a little better, we asked her some questions…
Q: What is your professional and educational background?
A: I started my career as a CSR/Prepress tech/Graphic Designer at a printing company over eleven years ago. At the print shop, I learned how to work in a fast-paced environment, while working on multiple projects simultaneously, which fueled my need/desire for being busy/productive and helping people. From there I went on to become an Executive Assistant to various CEOs, Presidents & VPs for a couple different companies (in the IT, Insurance and Financial fields). This is where I fine tuned my company organizational skills and client interactions. I have a BA in Communications from Ramapo college of New Jersey. I graduated in January 2006 after completing all my requirements a semester early.
Q: What led you to join the Rock Brook team?
A: I was looking for a full time job at a company that fostered self-growth and advancement in a fast-paced environment, while also having a friendly and open atmosphere. When I came upon the listing for Rock Brook and did some research, I knew this place would be a perfect match.
Q: What are your hobbies and what do you like to do for fun?
A: I am a homebody…I like reading, drawing, watching Dancing with the Stars while cuddling with my dog. If I’m feeling adventurous, I like trying new restaurants with friends or do game nights.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I am now an avid Sushi lover – specifically anything with salmon, especially an Alaskan Roll, and can’t forget the spicy mayo!
Q: If you were a Crayola crayon, which color would you be and why?
A: Sky Blue, since it is my favorite color, and at any given moment I can just stare at the sky and space out…it is one of my happy places!
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: I have two: “Live the life that you love, love the life that you live.” – Bob Marley; and “The mind is everything. What you think you become.” – Buddha
