Rock Brook Client Aerofarms “Farm of the Future” on MSNBC
Rock Brook’s client, Aerofarms, was recently featured on MSNBC and looks inside this extraordinary facility where plants are grown in a laboratory type setting. Rock Brook is proud to have provided MEP/FP engineering design services for the fit-out of this 77,000 square foot flagship headquarters facility in Newark, NJ. Design of base building systems included: generator system, UPS systems, fire pump and heat detectors. This aeroponic urban farm consists of a growing and cooling space, laboratory and germination. The building also contains event space and corporate offices as well as processing and shipping and receiving.
