The Rock Brook Consulting Group provided consulting engineering design and project management services for TCP’s new 160,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in a Class A multi-tenant commercial office building in Secaucus, New Jersey. The project included the construction of a new state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot data center with Tier II infrastructure.
As part of this project, The Rock Brook Consulting Group provided professional mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, audio/visual and information technology engineering design services. In order to accommodate TCP’s various lease expirations around New Jersey, the design and construction of this project was extremely aggressive. The data center engineering and information technology infrastructure included the design of redundant power, cooling, fire protection and telecommunication systems. Infrastructure included new computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units, a new 225 kVA uninterruptible power supply (UPS), multiple power distribution units, a clean agent fire suppression system and a new diesel-fueled standby generator system with associated emergency power electrical distribution.
The Rock Brook Consulting Group also provided data center commissioning services as part of this successful, fast track project.
