This project included the full renovation of 150,000-square-foot building to house the US World Headquarters on a preserved site. New Data Center on raised floor supported by new N + 1 redundant HVAC and power systems. Systems designed for standby generator support of Data Center and all MDF/IDF Rooms. Data Center and Document Storage spaces protected by pre-action and clean agent systems. Special care was taken in the design to preserve key components of the existing systems in an effort to reduce the project cost of construction. New supplemental steel was required to support the addition of the Data Center and Document Storage areas. Winner of United Way Commercial Real Estate Impact Award.
