Group’s Commissioning process ensures that systems
perform interactively according to contract
documents, design intent, and owner’s operational
needs. Commissioning verifies that equipment is
installed and operating properly in order to last
longer, work more reliably, and require fewer
repairs during its lifetime. Commissioning can
begin during pre-design, design, construction or
building start-up, but offers significantly great
cost effective benefits when it begins during
pre-design or design phases. During this stage, the
commissioning agent helps ensure that the intent of
the owner and designer are implemented into project
documentation. Later, the commissioning agent is
responsible for inspecting building systems and
components during construction. Performance testing
is completed near project completion.
